Max Scott kindly sent me another photo from the Crystal Palace race in 1969, it shows Roger Nathan’s Astra FVA being chased by my Chevron B8 FVA, I have no idea about the results but I am sure I did not catch Roger in his super fast Astra with it’s wood classis which was so light and aerodynamic . [Designed by Frank Costin] So I might have come second? Will try to check Autosport.
