Here is another picture from the Norisring Interserie race at Norisring 1970. This track is shaped like a banana with two long curves joined by a hairpin at one end and the other end comes into the stadium where Hitler used to have many of his rallies.
The cars race up and down the two very long curves flat out on the edge of their adhesion with out braking maneuvers near the hairpin. All very exciting. I am so pleased to have these photos of my participation in this event despite the fact we were out classed by 6 and 7 litre true Can-Am cars. They were great to watch from where I was sitting. After two heats we finish 11th. The race was won by Gijs van Lennep in the Austrian Porsche 917.
